I'm working on a free pattern and stitch guide to selectively pull together the great resources already out there. I won't be including everything; instead I'll focus on what I think are the best ... or maybe just my favorites!

The plan is to add at least an item a day, so stay tuned and watch this page grow ... any suggestions for inclusion, including links to your own free patterns or crochet stitch instructions? ... please let me know in the comments section and I will gladly add them.

Sometimes on-line Links "die" or change ... if you spot a Link that isn't working, I'd be most grateful if you would let me know.

Free Crochet Patterns

• Over 400 free crochet hat patterns, modern and vintage, at Allcrafts
• Great Norwegian website with a lovely selection of free crochet patterns in English. Called Pickles, the website also sells patterns and gorgeous yarns and they ship internationally ... the crochet patterns are towards the end of the list on the right
• Alla Koval has a great free section on her website My Little City Girl, including the sun hat from this blog

• Crochet Pattern Central has a good selection of written stitch tutorials
• A good selection of well-presented stitches with worked swatches at Lion Brand Yarns

Crochet Motifs & Blocks

• Find patterns for blocks, motifs, edging and flowers at Lion Brand Yarns
• Free crochet charts for borders, animals, flowers etc for filet crochet at Allcrafts

Crochet Christmas

Patterns to Buy or even Sell

• Patternfish is a Canadian company looking to become a major online force in pattern buying and selling. You will find vintage and modern, knitting and crochet patterns and be able to sell your own too.
